🥬 Spinach Stuffed Pastry (Crispy & Flaky)


🔪 Directions:

  1. Make the filling:
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Sauté onion until soft, then add garlic and spinach. Cook until wilted.
    • Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Let cool.
    • Mix in feta, mozzarella, and one beaten egg. Set aside.
  2. Assemble the pastry:
    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares or rectangles.
    • Add a spoonful of filling in the center of each square.
    • Fold over to form triangles or rectangles. Seal edges with a fork.
    • Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with seeds (if using).
  3. Bake:
    • Place pastries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
    • Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  4. Serve warm with tzatziki, marinara, or plain yogurt for dipping!
